Sheeple

Sometimes I think that I'm just following the herd and staring at someone else's butt along the way, instead of paying attention to that which is important.

But don't tell the little guys on Paul's TV that they're doing that. They're a bit sensitive, those sheep.

Winter Thaw

2008-12-27-4x6.jpg

After over a foot of snow last week, the temperature climbed over 10°C today, with a little drizzle for added fun. The heat and humidity of the air against the piles of snow on the ground made for some amazing fog, so Paul and I jumped in the Golf and ran thither and yon across the landscape trying to capture it on film.

The photo I went out for did not turn out as I had hoped, but a chance stop near Rockwood to watch an ice-fisher at work showed me a lonely stump out in the water.

Big Star Country

I went on a walk with Rose this morning, down 5th Line to the 70KM/H sign and back. I believe it's around 6 km, total.

This farm is just after the corner of 17th Sideroad and 5th Line. The red really pops against the snow, and the sky was grey and miserable, though the day was unusually warm for December.
